Mastering your craft means continually building on what you know. Join us for a technique-packed evening of learning with renowned educator John Carmona, aka Titan Barber. All levels of expertise are welcome! The class will focus on the importance of process and how to approach a haircut with confidence and creativity. You’ll learn about the fundamental techniques of fading, layering, and graduation and experience two demos designed to share the Titan Barber mindset and reveal what has made him successful behind the chair.
John Carmona is comfortable defying convention. He is known in the beauty & style industry for challenging the lines between cosmetology and barbering. An industry veteran and respected educator, he is a co-owner of Barber Theory, a group of modern barbershops in Denver, Colorado, committed to supporting “expression through image.” John commands stages worldwide as an educator and has done so for Wahl Professional, Paul Mitchell, and independently as a platform artist. He is a two-time winner of the Behind the Chair One Shot Award and a Modern Salons Men’s Groomer of the Year recipient. He believes in “learning how to cut hair and not how to do a haircut” and applying a methods-based approach to styling to achieve predictable results while freeing your mind to be creative.
