Macklan is a barber, stylist, and educator who specializes in short hair while excelling at everything from long layers to bald fades. He is on a mission to master all the technical aspects of his craft & give you the best haircut of your life. He possesses a deep understanding of the mechanics of haircutting, gained over 17 years in the beauty industry, and is passionate about sharing this knowledge. He has served as Director of Education for People’s Barber, taught students for Fellow Barber and Paul Mitchell Education, and is currently a National Cutting Educator for both Rene Furterer and Mizutani Scissors. Macklan loves living in the beautifully diverse city of San Francisco and working with all kinds of people because it broadens his view on life and understanding of hair.
